If you will use derma roller with minoxidil or other hair loss treatments please choose between 0.2mm and 0.5mm. NEVER use a needle length longer than 0.5mm with minoxidil.
If you will use the derma roller without minoxidil, then please choose between 0.5mm and 1.0mm.

Does it hurt?
Most people experience no pain when derma rolling, however this is dependent on you individual pain threshold, the needle size been used and the body part been treated.
At worst it should feel mildly uncomfortable at first as it is a new sensation, however most people soon get used to the feeling and actually describe it as therapeutic.
How Do I use it?
First, please ensure you have the correct size for the area you are treating.
Apply medium to firm pressure on the area you want to treat rolling 10x in each of the following directions: Up & Down, Side to Side and Diagonally. This ensures the area has been fully treated.
How Often Should I Use it?
This will largely depend on what are you are treating and what size roller you are using and how long you are rolling for.

There is no such thing as fake derma rollers. There are 2 types and both serve the exact same function which is to penetrate the skin. In fact, stainless steel rollers are better because they are naturally more hygienic than titanium. All rollers should be disinfected both before an after use and changed every few months depending on usage.

Some are sealed and some are not, so please do not purchase unless you are happy with this. The packaging has no bearance on the use of the brand new products. It is the manufacturers choice how they package and what packaging changes they make. Due to the nature of the products use it is imperative the instrument is kept clean. We recommend purchasing our specifically formulated derma sterilising spray.
